The Community Foundation of Greater Fort Wayne manages numerous agency endowments for local charities. In each case, investment earnings are distributed to the charity - the principal is not spent. The Community Foundation will match 20% of any new gift to the agency endowment for the charities listed on the Agency Endowments list.*

All funds at the Community Foundation of Greater Fort Wayne are operated in compliance with Internal Revenue Service Regulations, including variance authority requirements.

*Donations are subject to a maximum of $10,000 in matching funds for each scholarship fund per calendar year and a maximum of $150,000 for all endowed scholarship and agency endowment funds eligible for the matching program.
